Rashaunda Grant, is a Charleston, SC native and proud alumna of Florida A&M University and The Culinary Institute of Charleston. After a fulfilling career working with non-profits and government agencies Rashaunda turned her love of community, culture, and food into The Carolina Cookery.  Combining classical techniques with traditional Gullah-Geechee recipes and foodways, Rashaunda seeks to educate, entertain and delight the masses with a style she describes as “Southern Soul Re-imagined.” In her classes you'll learn the history behind some classic southern recipes, and the tips and techniques to make them perfectly at home!
